Great question. While many think the company name is a take on our CEO Gabe Greenberg’s name, it actually stands for Global Audience Based Buying Conference and Consultancy.

What consulting services does GABBCON offer?
GABBCON provides management, sales and strategic marketing consulting services for audience-based buying and blockchain. These services range from readiness and training to vendor RFP preparation and execution through to selection and implementation. Projects range in size from 3 months to full year retainers. GABBCON also offers a service to brands, agencies and publishers/adtech companies to match partners at key events (DMEXCO, CES, Cannes, etc.). GABBCON also offers this service under retainer throughout the year on topics of innovation, programmatic, TV/Video, audience-based buying, etc.
What private event services does GABBCON offer?

As an adtech company or vendor can I submit a proposal to speak at a GABBCON event?
You may submit your ideas for submission as a vendor or adtech company, however more than likely, you will be required to sponsor the event if your content aligns with the agenda.
How do I submit a proposal to speak at a GABBCON event?
Brands and agencies may submit speaking proposals. They are accepted and reviewed once received and you will be notified if your content is selected for a GABBCON event.

Who Can Enter To Win an ABBI Award?
ABBI Awards are open to all companies involved in advertising and communications, including (but not limited to) brands, media agencies, publishers, adtech companies, media owners, full-service creative agencies, digital agencies, ad tech agencies, mobile agencies, content creators, production companies, industry associations and research business.
All entries must be submitted with the full approval of those mentioned in the award submission.
Can I Enter A Single Campaign Into More Than One Category?
You are welcome to enter the same campaign into multiple categories. However, please ensure that the copy you add under each section (Insights, Strategy, Execution, Results) is relevant to the specific category you are entering. What is the date by which a campaign must have been completed to be eligible for a 2019 ABBI?
Eligible campaigns must have run between 1 January 2018 and 30 March 2019 and may have been implemented globally, nationally or locally. If your campaign started a little earlier or ended later than the eligibility dates, it can still be considered as long as the bulk of your campaign has run within the eligibility dates and it wasn’t entered in the 2018 ABBI awards.

What is the cost per entry and is their any bulk discounts?
The Standard entry price: $395 for entries submitted and paid for after Friday, September 13, 2019 (23:59h PST). Discounts are available for multiple entries

• 3 Entries – $1,165
• 4 Entries – $1,400
The organizer reserves the right to extend the entry period if there is demand. Any entries submitted after Friday, September 13, 2019 will cost $100 late fee added to the standard entry fee.
When is the short list announced?
The Shortlist announcement will be made on our website and to those on the last on, or before Tuesday, October 1, 2019
When and where will winners be announced?
All winners will be announced and presented with their award/s on Monday, November 11, 2019 in Beverly Hills, at The Beverly Hilton. Winners will also be announced on the ABBI Awards website on or about November 13, 2019, in the press and on social media.
If I need additional time to submit my entry, can the deadline be extended?
If you need more time to put together your entries, please get in touch with us firstname.lastname@example.org specifying the total number of entries you are planning to submit. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Extensions may incur additional costs.
Can one campaign be entered into more than one category?
Not only can a campaign be entered for more than one category, we encourage you to do so to maximize your chances for an award and/or to increase the number of awards a given campaign may receive.
Can the judges move my award entry from one category to another if they feel it is in the wrong category?
Nobody will ever change a category once an award entry is submitted. Only the company that entered the award will be able to make any changes, but these must be made before hitting submit with the final entry. Once awards are submitted they cannot be changed.
Does GABBCON judge the awards?
All award submissions are judged by a group of external judges. GABBCON does not select winners for the ABBI awards.
Can my entry be submitted with a joint entering company?
There can only be one Entering Company. However, you may credit other companies that contributed to the work. The company that entered will be the company that ultimately wins if selected by the judges as the winner.
Once the shortlist is announced there is a seven (7) day window for any credit change requests belonging to the “other credit” section. After the seven (7) day period, all information on the shortlist will be considered final and no further information or request for credit amendments will be considered.
Do I need approval from anyone to submit an entry?
You will need to confirm you have received approval from your client/partner to enter the awards and that all information included is correct. All entries, however, will remain confidential unless you win.
Should your client require an official letter from the GABBCON/ABBI Awards confirming the confidentiality of the written submissions, in order to approve your participation in the ABBI Awards, please make a request to: email@example.com
Why must I pay first to begin the entry process?
You can download the 2019 ABBI Awards guidelines if you are merely looking for information. To begin the submission process, you must first pay to enter.
I have multiple entries and prefer to send them via email is that possible?
We prefer that all entries be submitted via the website for continuity. We receive many award entries and entries submitted in other ways can get lost. If you MUST submit in an alternate way, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I win campaign of the year or agency of the year?
The agency of the year or campaign of the year awards are given to the agency or campaign with the highest # of wins across multiple categories.
I won an ABBI and want to request duplicates of the award for other offices or clients, how do I do that?
Please contact email@example.com should you need extra trophies. The cost for additional awards is $525 plus shipping and handling.
